Now there's a way to say "modern" right from the get-go - a front door on a pivot system. I think this idea originated in the UK, where it seems most cool design trends seem to start! It would feel like entering your very own space ship. A door like this would probably work best on a wider than standard opening since the pivot hardware is offset. A long, sleek pull would finish it off well. I like the idea of glass in the door since with a wider door there might not be much room for sidelites.
